A trending voice note purportedly of Music promoter and associate of Naira Marley, Sam Larry is trending. The man in the voice note appears to be celebrating the death of someone.
An X user, @Samklef, posted the video with the caption: “Jesu! This one weak me! Men are evil! Untop person say e no wan Dey una record label. No justice must prevail! Sammy Larry knows about something.”
The voice in the voicenote said: “All stations settled. No case to answer. The body is already in the mortuary”
Microsecondnews observed, though, that the clip is very short, and therefore offers no insight into who specifically was being discussed. This typically happens when some other things said in a voice note do not corroborate the agenda being pushed.
Equally, no names were mentioned in the clip, making it difficult to be certain that this discussion was actually about Mohbad and his death.
In addition, the mention of ‘mortuary’ is curious as Mohbad was buried less than 24 hours after his death. It is unclear whether he was in fact put in the mortuary, given the intention of his family to bury him immediately.
