A Nigerian woman, Edith Gift, has taken to social media to express appreciation to God gifting her money through a second-hand school bag she purchased for her daughter.

According to her, she discovered Chinese yuan notes inside the bag when she got home.

The woman, who goes by the handle @edithgift101 on TikTok, promptly turned this unexpected windfall into N189,000.

The incident quickly gained widespread attention on social media platforms, with many people celebrating Edith Gift’s good fortune and attributing it to her dedication to motherhood.

In a TikTok video that has since gone viral, Edith Gift flaunted the crisp Yuan notes.

In her words:

“This one na miracle o. God o. God no dey sleep o. E clear abi.”

She wrote that the discovery was made by her daughter after she gave her the bag for her school runs.

Some of her followers also claimed they found various sums of Yuan notes in the second-hand stuff they purchased in the past.
