A video has dropped to buttress the claim that the late singer, Promise Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad was bullied and harassed till death by members of a ‘music mafia’.

The clip shows the late musician on the set of a video shoot with Zlatan when a group of men arrived to disrupt the shoot.

Mohbad and Zlatan were seated in wheelchairs being pushed by middle-aged women as part of the shoot when the men arrived.

The leader of the group, who was later identified as an associate of Naira Marley, can be heard shouting in Yoruba, “e pa gbogbo were te n se nibi yi” (Kill all this madness you are doing here?).

Zlatan instantly stood up to meet the leader of the group and restrain him from accessing Mohbad who also sensed that they came for him and sprang to his feet.

The men told Zlatan he was free to go, but that Mohbad could not leave.

Sorry, Zlatan, maa lo. Eleyi o le kuro nibi yi” (Sorry, Zlatan go away. But this one cannot leave here.)

The allegation is that Mohbad was never forgiven that he stood up to intimidation from higher powers in his former label and finally quit the label.

He was said to have faced constant intimidation and harassment since then.

Some reactions to the clip:
