‘They’ll soon spoil this thing’, Netizens complain as Lagosians rush new train like ‘molue’ (Video)
A video of Lagosians pushing and jostling to get a seat on the newly launched Blue Line train in Lagos is generating reactions online.
The clip shows passengers pushing each other as the train pulls up. The moment the door opens, people scramble to get available seats.
In the process, there was pushing and shoving and an exchange of expletives can be heard.
The clip has generated mixed comments, with many netizens wondering how long the facilities will last if people continue to behave that way.
@Taiwo16556987: “Nigerians are too used to sitting in any form of transport.. I pray soon they get used to the fact that that train is not really meant for people to sit because it gets to the nearest station in less than 6 minutes. It’s designed to pack as many people and drop them fast.”
@realsultanoa: “But this rushing will spoil the train, are dey not selling the tickets according to number of seats?”
