Arise TV’s famous anchors, Dr. Reuben Abati and Rufai Oseni had a bit of a spat during their show this morning, September 8.
While anchoring their programme, Rufai applauded two presenters of the TV station and claimed they were on the street when no other media house was willing to cover the EndSARS protest.
Abati was not comfortable with the claim and stepped in immediately to correct him that other media houses covered the EndSARS protest as well and that Rufai should not “exaggerate things’’.
Rufai would not back down easily, he insisted that only Arise TV covered the protest and put men on the street.
But Abati firmly told him that while Arise TV did a good job of covering the crisis, other media houses did well too.
