PEPT: Man burns the Nigerian constitution, lawyer burns his wig to protest tribunal’s ruling
A Nigerian man has burnt a copy of the country’s constitution to protest the ruling of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal’s judgement in favour of President Bola Tinubu.
In the same vein, a lawyer also set his wig ablaze for the same reason.
In videos posted online, the man who filmed himself burning the constitution said t is ‘’useless” while another man, a supposed lawyer burnt his wig.
On Wednesday, September 6, the Presidential Election Petitions Court affirmed the election of President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), saying Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Power didn’t do enough to prove their cases against the president.
