Bride in tears as caterers fail to show up early at expensive wedding (Video)
Many things went wrong at an elaborate wedding in Ghana, including the failure of the caterers to show up early, leading to the bride breaking down in tears.
It was said that the agreed time for the caterers to be at the venue was 2 p.m. but by 4 p.m., the caterers were still nowhere in sight.
Before the disappointment by the caterers, the day had begun on a challenging note for the bride, as her dress failed to meet her exact specifications.
Her attempt to augment her beauty with the services of a specially hired make-up artist was resisted by her family, on religious grounds.
They then got to the reception and the caterer played her own card too. Everything added together led the bride down the path of despair and she broke down in tears.
A series of clips uploaded by a TikTok user @blogwithmcb, show the professional videographer of the occasion consoling the distraught bride, assuring her that all would be well.
He wrote the following caption for one of the videos: “At this point, she lost hope cuz the food vendors were supposed to be at the reception at 2 pm, as at 4 pm, they were still not around. But our team kept on encouraging her, gave her reasons to smile and hope for a successful reception.”
Some other pictures later uploaded by the photographer/videographer showed the bride smiling, suggesting that the caterer later showed up and the event went on smoothly.
The post has attracted lots of comments.
