A Lagos resident has posted a video of her experience in the hands of some thieves who tried to tow her car from the front of her apartment at 2 a.m.
According to the lady, the men sneaked into their street when everyone was fast asleep and successfully hooked her car to their towing van branded with LASTMA stickers.
Luck ran out on them when the towed car bumped into an electric pole as they were trying to pull out.
The noise woke a neighbour of the owner of the vehicle who raised the alarm. Street residents came out and the men fled, leaving the towing van behind with the key in the ignition.
