Nigerian lady narrates how armed robber almost hacked her to death for refusing to hand over her phone

A Nigerian lady, Sandra Uche, has taken to Twitter to narrate how she narrowly missed being hacked to death when she opted to run with her phone when waylaid by an armed robber on Thursday morning, August 17, 2023.

According to her, the robber demanded her phone, but instead of handing it over, she decided to run.

She said that she, unfortunately, fell while running and the man caught up with her and raised his machete.

She narrated that she instantly handed over the phone and the robber collected it and moved away.

Sandra said she was grateful to God that the robber did not hack her. She said she sustained minor injuries from the fall.

“I was robbed this morning. I ran, but when I fell and the man raised his machete, the only thing that rang in my head was Pastey’s voice about how we should never value material things more than our lives. I immediately handed over my phone. Thank you Jesus for the gift of life,” she tweeted.

“Thanks fam, I sustained a few injuries from the fall. and thanks to God I wasn’t harmed. I’d just have to deal with the trauma, I hope prayers and music will do.”
