My ex-hubby promised to make me a mother – Farida Sobowale explains her suicide attempt

The founder of House of Phreeda, Farida Sobowale who was on Thursday saved from killing herself by jumping into the Lagoon has explained what happened.
Sobowale in a voice note now trending asked for forgiveness from her fans for the embarrassment that attended her attempted suicide.
Speaking in Yoruba, she said she was a victim of love, as she had spent both body and money to ensure that her love lasted, only for it to die a sudden death.
She claimed that her ex-husband made her a lot of promises, which he apparently did not fulfil. Among the promises was that he would make her a mother only for him to abandon her.
Sobowale said it was not as if she was too rich, but that she went all out to please her ex-husband so that she could enjoy her marriage, but unfortunately, the marriage was short-lived.
She appealed to the general public to forgive her.
She also said she had forgiven her ex-husband and prayed for him to find another woman.
