Married woman found n@ked and lifeless after lodging in hotel with ‘Pastor’ in Abia
A married woman has been found dead in a hotel room after engaging in a romp with a self-acclaimed Bishop and general overseer of a church in Abia State, Timothy Otu.
A report making the round online indicated that the married woman was a Lady Evangelist in the church of Otu,, the G.O. of a new -generation church/prayer ministry (names withheld) located around Obikabia Junction, Ogbor Hill Aba.
According to the Vanguard, the deceased (names withheld), a mother of five, had allegedly lodged with the amorous ‘Bishop’ in a popular guest house located around the Ogbor Hill side of the commercial city of Aba.
The married GO and his married lover were said to have checked into the guest house on Saturday night, but around 11:00 pm the cleric was said to have sneaked out pretending that he was going to buy food.
When the operators of the guest house did not sense any activity in the locked room and the cleric did not return, they suspected foul play and contacted the police.
Part of the report read: “The manager of the hotel suspected foul play and reported to the Eastern Ngwa Police Station in Obingwa Local Government Area around 1 am on Sunday.
“The woman was found lying naked with foam coming out of her mouth and nose when police arrived at the scene.
“When her mobile phone was accessed, it was discovered that the duo have been in a romantic relationship for quite some time.”
A police team later visited the church of the lover on Sunday while he was preaching and called him aside to quiz him.
He was subsequently arrested and is now with the Eastern Ngwa Police Station Obingwa.
According to the report, the husband of the deceased lady evangelist, who hailed from Umuatakawom in Obingwa, was said to be away in Bayelsa State on a business trip when the ugly incident occurred.
The Abia State Police Command’s spokesperson, Moureen Chinaka, when contacted, told the Vanguard that he was yet to be “officially briefed” on the matter and promised to get back to the publication as soon as she got information.
