Ghanaian singer, Stonebwoy robbed at gunpoint in the US shortly after sharing video of buying diamond watches, others
Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, has been robbed of his valuables shortly after he visited a highbrow shop to buy diamond jewels and watches.
Reports indicated that the incident happened in the late hours of Tuesday, August 15, 2023, in Atlanta Georgia, United States of America.
The boss of Burniton Music Group has been on a tour of some states in the United States of America in the last few days.
Atlanta was his next stop, where he was billed to perform. He was said to have decided to make a stop at the Icebox shop with his own security detail and media team to shop.
The artiste shared the details of his activities on his Instagram page. The clips covered his arrival at the shop, his interactions with the attendants and sales reps and his departure with the box of precious jewels and watches he bought.
Shortly afterwards, a Ghanaian blogger, GHHyper reported on Instagram that Stonebwoy had been robbed. He wrote: “JUST IN: Ghanaian dancehall star Stonebwoy and his team robbed by armed men in Atlanta Georgia, USA.”
The incident has attracted mixed reactions, with many netizens calling on celebrities to tune down on their ostentatious lifestyles, especially now that insecurity is worsening globally including in the so-called advanced countries.
