“After king na king” – Portable seemingly confirms dating late Alaafin of Oyo’s wife (Video)
Maverick muscian, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, seemed to have confirmed the rumour that he is dating the wife of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Queen Dami.
During an interview with on-air personality Nedu of Wazobia FM and other hosts of the Honest Bunch Podcast, the musician revealed his involvement with the young woman.
This is coming after screenshots of Portable and Dami’s chats, where they both exchanged endearing words like my king and queen with love emojis, surfaced on the internet.
Speaking of their connection, the Zazuu crooner said that if the King had been alive, he would not have made any attempt to approach the Queen but since the king is late, another person needs to step in, adding “after king na king.”
In response to a question on whether the rumours were true, he said;
“Queen Dami has been my fan from day one.
“When I now heard of the king’s death, after king na king. You wouldn’t have seen me with her if the king was still alive. I no dey follow person wife” he said.
