Isreal Afeare, Davido’s logistics manager, has apologized to the Muslim community over the video his boss recently promoted that got some of them angry.
Davido was dragged by a section of the Muslim community in Nigeria last week when he shared a video of his new signee, Logos Olori, praying and dancing with people dressed in Islamic outfits in front of a mosque in his new music video.
Olori sat on the roof of a mosque as Muslim faithful prayed below.
Many Muslims found it offensive and took to social media to express their displeasure. Davido later deleted the video
Isreal has now apologised on Davido’s behalf. He said his boss promoted the video all in a bid to lift the signee up in conformity with his mantra of “we rise by lifting others”.
