Popular Anambra State-based native doctor, known as Akwa Okuko Tiwaraki, has been kidnapped by armed bandits.
Akwa Okuko, an indigene of Idemili North Local Government Area of the State was reportedly kidnapped from his hotel in Oba community last night.
The attack shocked community residents before whom he had severally demonstrated his powers including ability to withstand sharp objects and be impenetratable by bullets.
One of such demonstrations captured on camera showed him dancing despite two six-inch nails allegedly sticking out of either side of his head and a knife buried in his belly.
The man who was feared and regarded as the richest and strongest witch doctor in Anambra State, was kidnapped with ease at his Triple O Hotel on Sunday night.
Reports indicated that two of his personal aides were gunned down.
He had in 2022 built and launched two hotels, regarded as the biggest in Oba, where popular businessman, Obinna Iyiegbu alias Obi Cubana hails from.
A source told Daily Post: “Akwa Okuko Tiwaraki na Oba has been kidnapped last night in his Triple P Hotel. Two of his securities men were shot dead. Where is Nwa Ocha & Odeshi?”
Before his abduction, many people reportedly flocked to his mansion in Oba for anti-bullet charms and rituals for money and wealth.
Police spokesperson, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga said the incident happened around 11:30pm last night.
“CP Aderemi Adeoye has ordered that operatives go after his abductors and ensure his release,” he said.
