A Nigerian man, Engineer Emmanuel Faworaja, has died from a dog bite two months after his wedding.
The incident happened in Ilorin and the dog reportedly belonged to a neighbour.
Twitter user @donimam4all shared the sad story on his Twitter handle. He said he had always read stories of people being killed by dogs but he never thought it would happen close to him.
In a follow-up tweet, he said the family of the deceased had decided not to press charges against the owner of the dog.
