Guinness World Records has responded with some exasperation at the rash of record breaking and setting attempts being spearheaded by African countries, especially Nigeria.
A Nigerian tagged GWR while indicating that she intended to create her own record-setting category.
GWR responded with “Please, enough with the record-a-thons.”
Many Nigerians and their African counterparts have been rushing over each other to break or set a new record since the Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci, broke the record for the longest hour an Individual cooked.
