It is another sad news for Ghanaians as their 24-year-old compatriot is reported to have shot his mother and sister in the United States.
The mother and the sister were severely injured but are still alive and receiving medical care as of the time of filing this report.
The young man held the police in a shootout for 13 hours before he was subdued and taken into custody.
What led to the shooting is not known at this time. All that is known right now is that the police were summoned by neighbours after they heard gunshots on the property.
The police are investigating the incident.
