A Nigerian lady is out with a quest to bag a record for frying and cooking snails for 200 hours.
She has tagged it ‘Snail-A-Thon’, during which time she will cook and fry snail-related meals to set a Guinness World Record.
Her latest bid has forced a Nigerian to take to Twitter to appeal to the government to take action against those abusing the Guinness World Record thing.
The trend was started by Hilda Baci who made a bid for the longest hours of cooking previously held by an Indian. She succeeded and was recently recognized by GWR.
Other youths have gone into a frenzy to break an existing record or set a new one.
