A handful of workers at the recently commissioned Dangote Refinery want Nigerians to believe that the elaborate commissioning ceremony of the refinery was a scam as the project is yet to be fully completed.

Recall that the former president, Muhammadu Buhari in May commissioned the 650,000 barrels per day refinery located at the Lekki free zone in Lagos.

In a now trending video, one of the workers can be seen telling the camera that serious work was still ongoing to complete the project.

“This one wey dey here now na Dangote Refinery dem dey work. Shey you dey see am,” a voice in the background said. (The people you are seeing are working at the Dangote Refinery. Are you seeing them?)

Another interrupted, “Na lie, na lie; work never finish. Nigeria na scam.” (It’s all a lie. The project has not been completed. Nigeria is a scam)
