The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, has explained why he cursed Happie Boys.
Recall that the Happie Boyz, Matthew Precious Kelechi and Amakor Johnson hit national limelight after they were sacked by Chicken Republic for dancing while on duty as security guards at one of their outlets.
Apostle Chinyere took up the boys and sent them on scholarship to Cyprus.
The boys again trended a few months ago when they publicly called out the OPM Pastor and accused him of abandoning them in Cyprus.
The pastor sent them an angry voice note, in which he placed a curse on them. The boys put the voicenote on social media.
When journalists had a chance to interview Apostle Chinyere recently in Port Harcourt, he decided to open up on the issue.
He stated that he did not abandon the boys, but was only unable to continue to fund the boys’ education because of the fall of the naira.
He said he had forgiven the boys despite what they did to him. He further made it clear that the curse he placed on them was done in anger. He said he felt sad and regretted sending the boys abroad after they called him out on Instagram.

“Number one, I have forgiven them. Placing a curse was done out of anger. I have forgiven them because they are my children.”
