Alleged robber nabbed while trying to strangle her victim who was sleeping in her apartment (video)

A lady was caught while tring to strangle a woman sleeping in her room in Ifako area of Lagos.

According to a TikTok user, the instruder sneaked into the room of her fellow tenant, taking advantage of the unlocked door. The occupant of the room was said to be deep in sleep at the time.

The intruder allegedly picked some valuables belonging to room occupant. It was speculated that the room occupant woke up about the time the thief was trying to exit and she decided to shut her up by strangling her.

The tenant was however able to raise alarm drawing fellow tenants who burst into the room and apprehended the culprit.

In the now trending video of the incident, neighbours can be seen interrogating the intruder in Yoruba.

It’s unclear what she was trying to steal.
