Fans berate Burna Boy for cancelling show in Netherlands after keeping them waiting for hours

Grammy award-winning Nigerian artiste, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, stood up his fans for hours in the Netherlands on Saturday, June 17.

The mega star was slated to perform at GelreDome, Arnhem, Netherlands. The 41,000-capacity arena was filled with fans who had to wait for the ‘Last Last’ crooner to thrill them.

However, they got the shock of their lives that the show had been cancelled.

The news was broken on Burna Boy’s Instastory about midnight. He announced the event would no longer hold for “a number of reasons.”

He said his “amazing team had been hard at work trying to salvage it but we couldn’t do it in time.” He promised to announce a new date soon.

His fans did not accept the explanation. They took to social media to berate the star and his management.
