A lady has alleged that money is being collected from those who want to eat the food being prepared by Chef Dammy of Ekiti State, who is challenging Hilda Baci’s record of longest hours of cooking.
Chef Dammy launched a bid to cook for at least 120 hours to break the unofficial Guinness World Record broken by Chef Hilda Baci.
A young lady who goes by the name Abokede Boluwatife on Tiktok has been providing updates on the cook-a-thon on her page.
In one of her daily updates, she alleged that people were being charged N1k to be allowed to eat the food being prepared by Chef Dammy.
She claimed that the food made at the cooking marathon was free for the first two days, but not any more.
She said:: “So, coming from the stable of information, they said that no free food today. You have to pay N1K if you want to eat food; yesterday was free.”
The claim has however not been confirmed. This however has not stopped people from criticizing Chef Dammy.
Many netizens are reminding her that charging for her food is a ground to disqualify her from winning the Guinness recognition she is seeking.
