Former Blackstars player, Emmanuel Duah, has broken silence on the reports that he was the reason an abroad-based wife, Harriet Yaa Gyamfua was planning to divorce her husband before she was shot.
Recall that Gyamfua was shot recently by her husband who brought her to the United States of America after she told him she was leaving him to marry another man, whom she planned to bring into the US.
It was rumoured that Emmanuel Duah was the ex-boyfriend that caused the trouble. It was further alleged that they dated when Gyamfua was in her 20s and that they met again after she came back to Ghana to take care of her sick mother.
However, addressing the trending issue, Emmanuel Duah has strongly dismissed the allegations that he recently met and slept with Yaa Gyamfua.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Bright Kankam Boadu recently, the former soccer star confirmed that he once dated Yaa Gyamfua but their affair happened about 33 years ago.
According to him, the last time he saw Yaa Gyamfua was 3 years ago after they both met at a funeral grounds.
He denied being involved in the latest scuffle between Gyamfua and her husband, which led to him shooting her and himself.
