A video reportedly showing the interaction between super star footballer, Neymar and a model who accused him of rape is currently trending on Twitter.
The video was said to have been recorded inadvertently by the footballer when the model, Najila Trindade visited him in his hotel room in 2019.
The Paris Saint Germain striker apparently had his laptop open and recording when the encounter between him and the model took place in the hotel room in Paris.
He reportedly was not aware the footage was on the computer until much later when he stumbled on it.
The former Brazil captain maintained at the time that he did not rape the model and that what transpired between them in the Paris hotel room was consensual.
Prosecutors dropped the case against him later due to a lack of evidence. The lady was later charged for fraud and extortion.
The footage making the rounds now shows someone believed to be Neymar entering the hotel room with a lady believed to be Trindade.
The two land on the bed and are soon arguing and the lady slaps Neymar across the face. She strikes out at least two other times before moving out of camera view, ostensibly out of the hotel room.
Those who understand what they were saying said the lady was inviting the footballer to sleep with her, apparently to seal the rape accusation, but he was reluctant, leading to the argument.
Neymar did not strike back in the footage.
