A man, identified as Mr. Odiaka, has taken to social media to seek for assistance from human rights activists and other public spirited individuals to save him from his wife.
Odiaka was filmed by a man who said he needed to bring the matter to the attention of the public before something terrible happened to the victim of domestic violence.
Odiaka said his wife repeatedly slaps him, once broke his head and poured hot water on him.
He displayed the a burns scar on his chest, which he said was a result of the hot water poured on him by his violent wife.
He said he decided to come out for assistance because his wife had now threatened to pour acid on him or kill him.
He specifically asked human rights activists to take up his case the same way they help out women who suffer domestic violence from their male spouses.
