Nigerian man calls out FG over horrible transit house he and others being evacuated from Sudan were lodged
A Nigerian software engineer has taken to Twitter to call out the Federal government over the poor facility he and other stranded Nigerians in Sudan have been moved to as they are being evacuated back home.
Hamid Abdulmalik in a series of posts, said he felt the need to exposed the lies beig told by government officials about their evacuation from war-torn Sudan.
He said he saw that some government officials were making claims that they lodged the evacuated Nigerians in a conducive environment and were responsible for their feeding.
He said his post was to expose such lies, adding that they had not been given a drop of water to drink, much less food to eat.
He shared a video showing himself and others in a dilapidated building and wrote:
‘’This is our toilet, 1.2 million dollar extraction plan. It is not really about the toilet, but the lies being told and the money they are trying to steal at the expense of our trauma”
When other Nigerians attacked him and asked him to be grateful for the shelter he and others had been given to keep them safe, he responded: “It’s not about that bro, it is about the fact that they make it seem to the world like they lodged us in a 5 star hotel, but that is not the case. It is about telling the truth”
