In less than 2 years, I collected wedding certificate and death certificate of my husband’ Business woman laments
A Lagos-based business woman has taken to Twitter to lament the loss of her husband under two years of marriage.
According to her tweets, the husband died on Tuesday, April 25, 2023.
The lady with the moniker, Adúmáradán on Twitter, and with the handle @Tolameora, wrote the heartrending tweet:
“In less than 2 years, I collected wedding certificate and death certificate of my husband.
God you do this one!!!!!!”
In a series of follow up tweets, the grieving widow lamented that the loss of her husband was not part of what she bargained for.
She wrote:
“Babatunde, we said we will stay old and grey and see our children’s children!
Why am I choosing your casket?
Why am I picking the clothes you are to be buried in?
Why am I choosing the date for you to be buried?
God why me?”
The heartbroken widow also shared some screenshots of the jokes her husband shared with her only months before.
She captioned it: “ My baby & his jokes 💔💔💔💔”
The lady also lamented that she lost her father and could not understand why she had to lose her husband again so soon.
She wrote: “10 years ago, my father died and today God decided that it’s my husband he wants to take!
God have I not suffered enough?”
Condolence messages have been pouring in for the distraught widow from netizens all day.
