A lady is trending after she took to social media to announce that she would not be marrying her boyfriend who sponsored her education.
The lady addressed her man, named Darlington, explaining why she would not marry him despite the fact that he saw her through school.
The lady in the video thanked Darlington for his largesse, but insisted that she could not marry him because his family hated her.
She said her boyfriend’s mother told him in her presence that he could not marry a girl without parents, as both of her parents are late.
She also accused her boyfriend’s sister of hating her, recalling that she once told her boyfriend to stop squandering his resources on a ‘girl he was not sure would marry him’.
She also recalled that she lived with the older sister of the man when she was about 8 years of age and was severely maltreated by the sister.
She claimed that the sister promised her own grandmother that she would send her to school, but that she failed to do this and instead used her like househelp, taking care of the baby of the house and serving as salesgirl at her store.
She said the education that Darlington’s sister failed to give her was what Darlington has now given her and as such, they were now even.
She claimed she did not owe him anything again and can never be part of their family.
