We don’t know suspect as our daughter’s boyfriend- Mother of victim
A tragic case has gripped Ghana. A man allegedly shot a beautiful lady five times, killing her instantly.
The victim has been identified as Maadwoa. The incident happened at the forecourt of Dufie Towers, Adum, Kumasi.
The suspected killer has been identified as Taakum, a boyfriend of the deceased.
The boyfriend was said to have severally accused the lady of infidelity, prompting the lady to call it quits with the relationship.
Taakum reportedly resorted to pleading for the deceased to take him back, but she declined.
The pleading reportedly continued until the man became frustrated and pulled out a gun during his last visit to her and shot her dead before absconding.
The police are currently looking for Taakum.
A witness who was present at the scene claimed she heard Maa Adwoa begging Taakum not to kill her but he refused and proceeded to shoot her 5 times. The witness fled the scene to report the incident.
Speaking on Kessben FM this morning, the mother of the deceased lady said that they (the family) don’t know the guy who shot her daughter to death as her boyfriend.
She explained that the only guy they know as her daughter’s boyfriend is a footballer who is currently based abroad. He is also the father of Maadwoa’s 4-year-old child.
