A man has reportedly been killed after he joined others to attempt to disrupt voting at a polling unit at Okota, Lagos.
Voting was reportedly progressing smoothly until a band of boys arrived the scene with the intention of disrupting the exercise and snatching the ballot box.
The move was resisted by some of the voters, some of who had dogs with them. They chased after the thugs and they were reportedly assisted by the police.
In a clip of the incident currently trending, gunshots can be heard, and one of the alleged political thug fell to the ground.
