A South Africa-based Nigerian pastor, Dr Roland, has vowed to use ‘muthi’ (South African word for ‘juju’) to fight his wife, a South African woman named Thuli, after she asked him for divorce over an undisclosed issue.
The couple took to social media to wash their dirty linen after a disagreement.
In a video posted by the wife, Roland was heard saying he would not sign the divorce papers she served him, but would return to Nigeria and use ‘juju’ to fight her.
In another video posted by the wife, Roland can be seen begging the wife to go and divorce him all by herself, adding that the law allows her to divorce him without his involvement.
Roland and Thuli are co-pastors at Evidence of Christ Ministries. While Roland is the senior pastor, Thuli assists him.
Neither of them has disclosed why they are at loggerheads.
The two appear to have been blessed with two boys, whose pictures adorn the Facebook page of the wife.
Only this past Valentine’s day, Thuli took to her Facebook page to describe herself as “the luckiest woman in the world” for having Roland as her husband.
