A Germany-based Nigerian woman has posted a video of herself ranting about the racist treatment she received in a supermarket in the country.
The lady said she dropped off her kids at school and went to a mall to purchase some things.
After her purchase, she paid and was expecting her change. However, rather than give her the change, the white lady at the till decided to put the change on the counter for her to pick it up.
She lamented that this same lady gave another customer who was white her change by hand, but because she was black, she dropped the change on the counter for her to pick.
She ranted that racism was too rife in Germany and if Germany was the only foreign country in the entire world, she would prefer to go back to her own country to live peacefully.
Reacting to the post, @sharpsmith_ranpa said: “If you haven’t been a victim you will never understand they will make you look less of yourself to the extent you asking yourself why you are black but sis just get used to it cuz it’s everywhere just be bold and proud of yourself always smile. Next time pick and other stuff from the store and let him or her pick her money from the floor. If they refuse to sit close to unit 3 or boss just make sure you occupy every single space there keep your bag on the chair if you wish you can even spread your legs and arms around the whole space. God punish them”
