Scary moment armed robber attacks three ladies boarding cab at night in Lagos (Video)

A trending video has captured the moment an armed robber tried to rob three ladies boarding a cab in Lagos recently.

The exact location is not known beyond the disclosure by the original poster that it happened in Lagos.

The incident was apparently captured by someone in a building overlooking the bus stop.

The ladies are seen boarding a cab. One enters the front, while the other two enter the back.

Just before the second person fully enters, a man sneaks up on them and grabs hold of her handbag. She refuses to let go of the bag as she screams.

The cab driver disembarks to confront the robber who then brings out a shining cutlass from under his clothes.

The driver immediately runs back to his seat as the ladies bravely continue to struggle with the robber even with his cutlass.

The driver of the cab then zooms off with the robber initially tagging along before giving up. The robber in frustration lashed out with the cutlass as the sound of the cutlass striking the metal part of the car can be heard but it’s not clear if anyone was injured.
