Nigerian man ignites outrage after being filmed flogging his wife in front of their kids (video)
A yet-to-be identified Nigerian man has ignited an outrage online after he was filmed flogging his wife in front of their kids.
At the start of the film, the woman is sitting on the stairs and struggling to get up with the angry man furiously lashing at her.
Two brave kids stand between their mother and their father and appear to take a few of the lashes, but they keep on trying to save their mother.
Their older sibbling descends the stairs and tries to move the father away from their mother, but the man brushes him aside and delivers a few more lashes.
‘Dayo, stop, stop’ the woman keeps saying, but he fails to listen. He can be heard speaking in Yoruba that the woman has turned herself into something else and that she now talks when he is talking.
Many people have called for the arrest of the man.
