The much-publicised legal tussle between the Chief Financial Officer of Ghana’s First Atlantic Bank and his mistress officially kicked off in court on Thursday.
Recall that Mr Ernest Kwasi Nimako became the object of international attention after a former subordinate, Deborah Seyram Adablah, sued him for allegedly failing to honor promises he made to her when they entered into sexual relationship.
It is Deborah’s claim that she went into a sexual relationship with Mr Nimako following intense pressure from him.
She further claimed in her suit before the Accra High Court that she was a National Service Personnel at the bank at the time and maintained a sexual relationship with Mr. Nimako until he started making some unnatural sexual demands.
This, she claimed, strained their relationship.
She then alleged that her former boss then reneged on some of the promises he made to her before she agreed to have sexual relations with him.
She has laid out some reliefs that she wants the court to grant her to pay for the betrayal of trust by Mr. Nimako.
When the case came up in court, Deborah turned up in a smart two-piece business suit, unlike her usual scanty wear.
More details are expected as the case unfolds.
