Yabatech student drinks poison after boyfriend she had abortion for broke up with her

A student of the Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has ingested a poisonous substance in a bid to kill herself because her boyfriend broke up with her.

Her roommate reportedly said the deceased, identified as Deborah, had recently had an abortion.

She got angry after her man decided to end their relationship despite having an abortion for him.

A Twitter user with the handle, @Villagechef, posted this.

She wrote: “An ND1 student of Yabatech Deborah on Wednesday tried to commit suicide after her boyfriend broke up with her.

Deborah who is a student of marketing in the institution attempted murder cause her boyfriend said he was no longer interested in the relationship.

“According to her roommate, she also recorded herself drinking the sniper before sending it to her said boyfriend.

Her current condition is not known at the moment as she was rushed to the school medical center before she was transferred to military hospital YABA.”
