Man arrested after trying to abduct female worker from her duty post in broad daylight (video)

A black American man has been arrested after he tried to abduct a female worker right from her duty post in a store.

The man, identified as Quincy Wilson, drove to a Lowe store, a Bartlesville hardware store in Tulsa Oklahoma, United States of America, parked his car near the exit and walked in to grab a female staff who did not know him or had any prior dealing with him.

Police said the suspect approached a female employee late Tuesday afternoon. He attempted to overpower her in hopes of forcing her into his waiting SUV.

Bartlesville Police obtained security footage of the attempted kidnapping in progress, which was then shared with the media.

A policeman commented on the brazenness of it all. “I’ve been here for ten years,” he said, “and this is my first encounter with an actual abduction or kidnapping from a place of employment.”

“I have never seen somebody try to physically take somebody or kidnap them,” echoed Sgt. Chris Neal, a ten-year veteran detective.

The man thought to be Wilson then grabbed the woman from behind, wrangled her arms above her head, and forced her towards a side exit. The victim’s feet skidded across the concrete floor as she tried to stop him.

Fortunately, a coworker saw what was going on and stepped in. The suspect then fled.

Police believe the crime was premeditated. Wilson allegedly parked his SUV in a secluded loading area next to the side exit.

The motive is not known yet.

The suspect was later picked up by the police and is being interrogated.
