A former English Premier League footballer, Greg Halford, 38, hugged the headlines over the weekend when he threw out the belongings of his former girlfriend, whom he accused of cheating on him.
The footballer shared a video on Twitter on Saturday, wherein he was seen tossing out boxes and other items, purportedly belonging to his ‘cheating ex’.
The ex-girlfriend, whose belongings he was seen throwing out of his £1million house, has been unmasked to be a stunning Mercedes executive named Kirsty Goh.
It turned out Halford and Goh had actually split for over a year before the filming of her ejected personal effects.
Neighbours squealed to MailOnline that Kirsty Goh actually moved out of the luxury property about 15 months ago.
They are surprised Halford is still ‘so obsessed’ with her given the time that has passed since their breakup.
It was gathered that Halford returned to his five-bedroom detached house last week to complete a clear-out before new owners move in.
The house has been vacant for at least 12 months.
Halford was at the property with a friend and a large hire van to move the remainder of his things to Essex.
A neighbour revealed: ‘When she left it was in quite a hurry and he didn’t know it was happening. He came back and referred to her as having “legged it”
One added: ‘It must have been a stunt picture because those boxes were not there for long. They were all loaded up into a skip.’
The neighbour revealed that Halford lived on the property with Kirsty but then he started playing football in all parts of the country, leaving the girl there alone.
‘He went to Scotland, Ireland, Essex. He was never at home and, well, let’s be honest, she was an attractive woman in her 30s and her boyfriend was never there.
A neighbour said: ‘He told me he was moving to Essex and starting up a new business. Then he asked me if I knew that Kirsty legged it. It was a surprise that he was still so wound up about it.’
