Some parts of Lagos and Ogun States recorded the first rainfall in the year 2023 on Sunday, January 22.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the rain fell around Lawanson in Surulere, Apapa Road, Costain and Oyingbo areas of Lagos.
In Ogun State, residents of Arepo and Magboro reported showers of rains in the evening, lasting about 15 minutes.
NAN reported that the Lagos rain lasted about 30 minutes and varied in intensity in the different areas mentioned.
There some showers around Ijegun, along the Jakande/Isolo area of Lagos.
