Trending video of police officers assaulting two OOU students in Ogun
A trending video shows the moment a team of police officers allegedly assaulted two male students of the Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State.
It was gathered that the assault occurred as the officers forcefully arrested the students on Thursday, January 12, 2023.
It is not clear what the students did, but whatever it was they did got the officers incensed. They can be seen dragging one of the students into their van, despite protests from his colleagues.
After they successfully dragged him into the van, the officer driving the van held him by his neck and pinned him down in a bid to stop him from coming down.
A Twitter user with the handle, Eleyi of OOU, tweeted: “These are Police Officers at Oru police station in Ogun State assaulting and harassing 2 students of Olabisi Onabanjo University for separating a fight between an indigene and a student.
