Ugandan man brutalizes wife for interrupting his romp with another woman in their home on Xmas Day
A 34-year-old Ugandan man is facing prosecution after he brutalized his Kenyan wife for coming back home unexpectedly to interrupt his intimate session with a side chick on their matrimonial bed on Christmas Day.
Mr. Peter Wakube pleaded guilty to assaulting his wife, Aida Nekesa in Kosovo area in Mathare within Nairobi on December 25, 2022, after he was arraigned at the Makadara Law Courts.
Ms. Nekesa, who works as a house help, was allowed by her boss to go celebrate Christmas at home with her family at 2 pm only to find that her husband had locked the door from inside.
After hearing funny noises from their bedroom, Ms Nekesa reportedly banged on the door repeatedly but Mr. Wakube refused to open the door.
The court heard that the wife in annoyance broke into the house and found that his hubby carried on in a bid to complete what he had started without regard for her.
Nekesa’s attempt to challenge the cheating hubby resulted in violence as Mr. Wakube allegedly descended on her with blows and kicks.
He allegedly threw her outside the house where he continued beating her for interrupting his sweet moment before neighbours intervened and rescued the complainant.
Ms. Nekesa sustained injuries on the face and abdomen.
She was escorted to Mathare police station where she made a report before proceeding to a hospital.
Her P3 form was filled and injuries sustained were classified.
Mr. Wakube was arrested at the house later.
Police recovered a photo of the complainant which he had torn into pieces in a fit of rage.
He pleaded for leniency before Principal Magistrate Agnes Mwangi claiming he is remorseful.
Ms. Mwangi ordered for the convict’s social inquiry report to be tabled before he is sentenced on January 24, 2023.
