Why I twerked for Ooni – Nkechi Blessing defends herself in viral twerking video
Controversial Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing Sunday has taken to Instagram to explain a now viral video of her twerking in the presence of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ojaja 11).
A trending video shows the actress shaking her voluptuous backside for the traditional ruler.
She is on stage with other participants, male and female, all dancing.
Nkechi backs the monarch, who is seated with other dignitaries, and shakes her behind vigorously.
At some point, she bends down as if to touch her toes and shakes her derriere as the audience erupts in excitement.
Considering that she had openly expressed a desire to be a wife of the Ooni, many netizens have been trolling her, accusing her of trying to tempt the monarch with her famous asset in order to become the seventh wife of the monarch.
However, in a post on her IG page, the actress said she was actually taking part in a dance competition and she had to use what she had when it appeared she was losing to a more enterprising person.
She disclosed that she was one of the judges at the Queen Moremi Pageantry. Along the line, there was a challenge about who was a better dancer and she decided to show her skills.
“About yesterday’s judge’s dance competition as my Oga @fagboyobamidele don Dey win me I say make I improvise but las las I came second and walked away with 250k courtesy the king @ooniadimulaife May You live long sir..God bless you abundantly for putting smiles on d faces of millions” she wrote on Instagram.
Many people still trolled her in the comments section. She acknowledged a follower who supported her with a positive comment.
The fan wrote:“Person shake yansh collect 250k, you wey borrow data dey troll, some people Mumu eh.”
The actress’ former boyfriend, Opeyemi Falegan, has seized the occasion to also troll her.
Using a Yoruba adage, Falegan said a mad person is a delight to watch, but no one wants to have him or her as a child.
“Mad person is good to watch, but nobody wants them as a child. “Were dun wo kose bi lomo , Oma sheee oooooo,” he wrote.
