Funny reactions after man claims he attended his own wedding without realising he’s the groom

A man set in motion a barrage of funny reactions after he took to Twitter to claim that he attended a wedding without realizing he was the groom.

Twitter user with the username Jeanios, on Saturday, Nov. 19, tweeted that he was attending a wedding.

“Attending a friend’s wedding today,” the man, who is part Togolese and part Nigerian, wrote.

Then on November 23, he returned to Twitter to reveal that, unknown to him, it was his wedding.

“If I tell you people this thing, you will not believe me. Ashey I was the groom. I don’t know how come. As I got there they just told me to start dressing up and be smiling for pictures ear and dear. Anyways, happy married life to me” he wrote.

Apparently, he was joking, but many people took him seriously and reacted accordingly.

One tweep with handle @tammy_009 wrote: “So you dey try tell us say you no know say na you dey marry? Like e no come your mind? Like dem just give you wife? And you too marry?”

One person wrote: “I just entered my car when I got home i just realized that the car is not mine..since una dey craze for this country all of us go kuku join..”

Another one wrote: “I got to work one morning and I realized that the company is now mine, isn’t God wonderful?”

However, an overwhelming number of people got his joke and wished him and his bride a happy married life.
