Isaac Fayose, brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, and popular actress, actress, Iyabo Ojo are locked in a hot battle over a plate of pepper soup.
Trouble started when Fayose went to Iyabo Ojo’s restaurant at Lekki Phase One to purchase a place of pepper soup for N7000.
He said he found only three bones in the delicacy and he filmed it and sent it to his cousin, fashion designer, Toyin Lawani, asking her to talk to her friend, Ojo to improve the quality of her food.
Fayose said Ojo called him after that and abused him, calling him a poor man seeking cheap publicity.
“Why will I do that because I did a video and sent it my cousin, Toyin Lawani to advise her friend that the service is going down. I have been buying food from Iyabo for 1 year and I have all my receipts here. Iyabo called me and started saying all things to me. She said I am poor, that’s why I’m asking for the second round”. Ojo later took to an Instagram live session on Sunday to explain what happened. She admitted getting angry at the customer because he thought he was trying to sabotage her business.
She explained that she ordered a replacement and also promised a refund if Fayose did not want another pepper soup.
Captioning the video, Iyabo wrote: “It is well… honestly the price you pay for stardom can be crazy at times.”
