A distraught American mother has taken to Tiktok to lament the predicament she has found herself after her 16-year-old son blew a whopping 2000 dollars belonging to her on a girlfriend.
The mother said the boy took her credit card and went on a shopping spree for some girl he is dating and spent the money she was saving for paying the rent of the apartment they stay in.
The woman who was crying in the video said he just sent him out of the house, arguing that if he was old enough to be buying stuff for a girl, he could definitely stay alone and fend for himself.
Some people commenting online said the punishment she meted out o the son was too harsh.
They advised the mother to call the son back home and punish him in some other ways, as he is too young at 16 to be out in the street.
