As announced yesterday, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, formally wedded his sixth wife today, October 24, in a colourful ceremony.
Wife number 6 is an Ijebu Princess named Temitope Adesegun.
The marital rites took plact in Magodo, Lagos.
The Ooni was not present at the wedding but was represented.
This is the 6th time he is getting married in two months and the 9th time he’s been married.
His first three marriages ended, with his third marriage to Prophetess Naomi ending less than a year ago.
Following the end of his third marriage, he began marrying multiple wives in quick succession.
