Police arrest fleeing sons of FULAFIA lecturer who stripped, tortured 20-yr-old girl over man
Nasarawa State Police Command has arrested the two fleeing sons of Dr. Fred Ekpe Ayokhai, a senior lecturer with the department of History and International Studies at the Federal University of Lafia (FULAFIA), for torturing a 20-year-old girl who quarrelled with their sister.
The suspects, identified as Bob Praise Ayokhai, 23, and Saint-Dan Ayokhai, 21, were arrested in the afternoon of Saturday, October 22.
The police had earlier arrested their father, Dr. Ayokhai and sister, Emmanuella Onawegie, over the same incident.
Recall that Ayokhai and his entire family had stormed the home of 20-year-old Blessing Mathias to attack her for fighting Emmanuella over a man.
They mercilessly beat her using sticks, palm fronds, wood and other weapons. They also took her to a forest, stripped her naked and abandoned her there after beating her to their heart’s content.
