‘Hit me online, I’ll hit you in real life’, Apostle Suleman vows to deal with owners of gossip blogs (Video)

The General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has promised to unmask and deal with those behind some blogs carrying negative news about him.

In the first Sunday service since the attack by gunmen on his convoy, the cleric asked the congregation to rise for a minute’s silence for the seven people killed by the gunmen.

Gunmen opened fire on his convoy on Friday, killing seven people on the spot, but the cleric and his family were in a bullet-proof car, which allowed them to escape unhurt.

Apostle Suleman said if he had the money, he would buy bulletproof cars for every member of his church, apparently in reaction to criticism that he did not put other members of his entourage in bullet-proof vehicles.

He said many people now have negative mindsets against him because of the lies peddled against him by “a particular platform.”

Suleman however vowed to nab the owners of the platform, saying “You can’t run for too long, I am already at your doorstep.”

The cleric has been involved in a long string of controversies, mainly surrounding illicit relationships and extra-marital sex.

He has always expressed his innocence about such scandals during his church services.

However, on Sunday, he claimed he had not been defending himself because his members asked him not to talk.

He said this time around, he would talk and will take action against those peddling falsehoods against him.

Shortly after the Friday attack, Suleman released a video where he said he cannot be killed because he is a man of God.

However, the video was not well accepted by some Nigerians who took to social media to criticize the cleric for “boasting” after his aides including a young girl were killed.

The critics said Suleman was saved by his bulletproof car and he should have provided the same for his aides.

Some of the critics added that Suleman, who had been severally accused of extra-marital affairs, needs to come out and reveal the truth about his past deeds.

However, Suleman addressed some of the issues raised by his critics on Sunday.

He labelled his critics as impatient people who always talk so fast without waiting for the conclusion of a matter.
